Panda’s Life In Zoo

We are back by searching for some best pictures that show an inside look at the life of a giant panda who lives the good life in the zoo. But before going to see them live in the zoo, we will tell you some facts. Pandas are the animals that want to live in an open area and try to climb trees. But while living in the zoo, they are not using such facilities. That is why they see happiness while living in a forest instead of staying in the zoo.

#1. Enjoying Perfectly Cut Bamboo Sticks

Zookeepers are always making sure to get the pandas not upset. Bamboo is actually the ultimate food choice for giant pandas, as they naturally prefer to eat the younger, softer shoots. Zookeepers do try to reproduce the natural conditions by providing the panda with fresh, tender bamboo. Sure, it looks like the zookeepers have spent enough time to cut those thick sticks evenly so the panda could enjoy a perfect meal. However, it looks like a luxurious and happy life in a zoo.

#2. Having Well Designed Place To Climb And Sit

In many images showing the zoo and looking after the pandas, I clearly see that they have well-designed enclosures. Pandas spend some of their lives climbing trees in the wild. Therefore, climbing structures in the zoos allow them to express this natural behavior. It provides the pandas with an hour of activity that ends by getting so tired and sleeping. In the way, climbing structures are strong and safe for the pandas, with the materials and angles appropriate for not allowing the pandas to fall.

#3. There Is No Struggle To Search Food

The biggest advantage of zoo life to the pandas is that there is no struggle of searching for food.In the zoo, pandas do not have to search for their food. They may spend this power on something else, such as climbing, playing, or sleeping. However, it is not all ideal, and zoo life is limited. Sometimes pandas may have a feeling that their food is ever the same and they can no longer taste the leaves or something else. Maybe pandas miss the wide range of different food sources that could be found in the wild.

#4. Sitting Like Humans And Enjoying Their Meal

Pandas legs are short, and the belly is very round. One thing is that they can easily raise and hold bamboo shoots with their paws if they sit with their bodies upright. Such a seated posture indeed reminds how a human being can sit, but it should not be associated with trying to eat like a human being. Such a position and posture help it to consume its main meal and are successful tools for food gathering. It can be concluded that pandas do not have the same seated posture and table manners as people do.

#5. Looks Like One Of The Panda Have A Birthday

It can be seen in the image where zookeepers sometimes celebrate the birthdays of their animals, and hanging up birthday charts might be the exact proof of such celebration. Moreover, it seems to be a nice way to entertain the visitors and educate them about animals. It also shows the importance of the animal care and keeping efforts. In the case of pandas, it helps to raise awareness about the fact that these animals are really rare and are becoming extinct.

#6. Wondering To See That He Is Going To Attack The Melon

In the image, the panda cannot say with certainty that a melon is an item to consume since it may not recognize the food. However, the fruit has a sweet taste and unknown qualities, which may cause the panda to understand that it is something to continue to investigate. Additionally, the melon indeed looks similar to other fruits or vegetables the panda may have seen before. Zookeepers do not usually leave such a fruit for pandas because it is too high in sugar and is not part of the bear’s standard diet.

#7. Provided With The Things Similar In The Forests

I assume that if a panda encounters a melon in the zoo, it is part of the animals’ enrichment. Thus, the zookeeper would already calculate the amount of fruit the panda can safely eat. Also, zoo management tries to provide all the facilities to the pandas as they have in the forest. As you can see, a panda is provided by a perfect place that is made of trees. Panda enjoying his tasty bamboo while sitting on that place, which looks familiar like forests.

#8. Perfect Swing Set Is Provided For Relaxation

A panda looks like he is relaxing on a swing set while living in a zoo. This looks so eye-catching and surprising. These structures enable pandas to relax, assess various heights, and view their environment. Platforms allow pandas to sit comfortably, nap, and relax. Perhaps some zoos install this kind of structure that pandas can relax on made of strong materials. Although pandas do not have swings that are necessary, they used to lay on it and relax instead of playing with it.

#9. In Zoos, Pandas Get Special Training To Amuse People

So, this is what the not-so-wild but pretty sweet life of zoo pandas is about. The lesson to be learned next time you come to the zoo to see them is to do it in the afternoon and say hi.
